The Feedstuffs magazine I received recently contained the Feedstuffs Ingredient Analysis Table: Edition. This summary is published every year and contains basic nutritional data on most commonly available feedstuffs.I knew I had the Edition in my files and surmised that a comparison of some of the data would be interesting. the feedstuffs are used in roughage-based rations for beef cows and growing cattle. Since growing, harvesting and storage conditions can markedly inﬂuence the nutritional content of feeds, actual feed analysis of the feedstuffs to be used can help in ﬁne-tuning rations.
